Graduation Spotlight: Lily Bliss
What are you involved in at Penn State and Smeal?
I am heavily involved in Penn State THON, and I was able to dance in THON this past February. I also am involved in Women in Business through the Smeal College of Business.
What are your plans after graduation?
This past summer I had the opportunity to be a District Manager Intern for Aldi. Following graduation this May, I will be joining Abercrombie & Fitch at their Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio. I will be joining their Full-Time Supply Chain Leadership Development Program, which is an 18-month rotation within their supply chain. With this, I will build a diverse skill set during these rotations to support A&F's global logistics network.
What are you most excited for in your new role?
I am excited about working with the merchandising and planning team and learning from all my peers!
What advice do you have for younger students?
If I had to give one piece of advice to younger students, it would be to go to every career fair. I found both my internship and job through the Smeal career fairs, and I am so glad I decided to go to every single one.
Why do you love supply chain?
I love supply chain because it is the backbone to every single company. Supply chain management is a very dynamic field that is constantly changing, which pushes me to problem solve and think strategically always.
