Henkel joins the Center for Supply Chain Research
Henkel has recently joined the Center for Supply Chain Research (CSCR) as a new corporate supporter. A regular supply chain career fair attendee, Henkel is revolutionizing the supply chain of the consumer products industry and creating new adhesive technologies.
"As a proud Penn State alum, I’m thrilled to see our partnership with Penn State evolve! Our recent success in recruiting exceptional talent to Henkel has been impressive, and this is the perfect opportunity to build on that momentum," said John Schilli, Director of Transportation at Henkel Consumer Brands. "By engaging with student projects, symposiums, and training programs, we can continue to foster the growth and development of our Henkel team. Looking forward to the exciting possibilities ahead!"
With a purpose of being "pioneers at heart for the good of generations,” Henkel is known for its portfolio of brands including Dial, Loctite, Purex, and Snuggle. The company has over 65 facilities, 6.6 billion dollars in sales, and approximately 8,000 employees.
"We’re excited to elevate our talent pool through the diverse training programs available and build meaningful relationships with students to strengthen our future talent pipeline," said Tara Piirala, Director of Customer Excellence at Henkel Consumer Brands.
Piirala, who is located in Murray, Utah, additionally noted, "This initiative will also serve as a key foundation for connecting our growing team across the country. By engaging with the various opportunities and projects, we aim to bring our geographically dispersed team closer together and foster a unified, collaborative environment."
