Top 5 in 5 Progress Report
In November 2025, we launched Smeal's most ambitious strategic plan to date: . Our goal is clear: to position Smeal among the top five public business schools by 2030.
This second quarterly update reflects continued progress across all five priorities and continued alignment across the college. We are strengthening career development infrastructure, completing a comprehensive curriculum review, advancing new programs in AI, setting a record $45 million in FY26 fundraising, and expanding our capacity to engage alumni, donors, and partners.
Not every initiative will show results this quarter. But the work is advancing, the foundation is being built, and I remain confident in where this plan is taking us. Thank you to everyone whose commitment and contributions are helping bring this plan to life. I look forward to sharing our continued progress in the months ahead.
